New Media

According to Wikipedia, new media is "is a term meant to encompass the emergence of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies in the later part of the 20th century". At the core of New Media is the computer. You want television, chat, download songs, watch music videos, write a letter, apply for a job, share your pictures, pay your bills and even create a career if you use it wisely. The list is endless with what you can do. New Media has enabled people to do anything without leaving there home. They can call, text, IM, shop, even create a "Second Life" through virtual reality with out really having to enter there real one.
